Gary McSpadden Ministries is a supporter of the Hope for Haiti Children's Center in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. This ministry is a distance from Port Au Prince, where the epicenter of the recent earthquake was. Members of the center felt the earthquake, but were not affected as badly as those nearer the center of the quake. They do need more help in the wake of the destruction: an orphanage in Port Au Prince is destroyed and many orphans will be coming to Hope for Haiti for help. Also a hospital which offered free care in Port Au Prince is in ruins; injured people were left laying in the streets with nowhere to go. Hope for Haiti Children’s Center is reaching out to help! |

Hello,
Just wanted to let everyone know, we are all fine here at Danita's Children. The earthquake was sizable here in Ouanaminthe but nothing like it was in Port-Au-Prince. Everything in our house shook and swayed but we suffered no structural damage. Thank God! |
